- Epson 2450 - VueScan 7.6.65 - Canon i9100 - ICC profiles
- Posted by Robert Peirce on November 14th, 2003
I profiled my printer per the instructions, and I have to say the colors
were spot on! However, the print wasn't smooth toned. It was
"pixilated." I was printing from Epson Photoshop Elements 2.0 on a Mac
PowerBook.
I might say the colors were over-saturated, but I am not sure if that is
the correct technical description. They were way too intense and that
caused adjoining colors to appear as abrupt changes rather than smooth
transitions. I can probably tone this down in the printer driver, but
it appears I am doing something wrong and I would like to know what it
might be. Any ideas?
