I have been quiet recently due to heavy workload - the surveying is not as
'easy' as I thought - basically there are a lot of missing benchmarks and I
sometimes have to travel quite a distance with the level to get just one
point. So to do 200 levels in 3 weeks I am flat out most days! Then I spend
most evenings and weekends working out payrol, planning work, working out
levels etc. So its quite a task. I hope I will get more efficient but
Wakefield has proved a bugger of a job with its mining subsidence and extra
checking required. So thus far not overly impressed but I will stick at it.
I think with all the work involved if I cant earn more than £500 a week it
won't be worth it and the insurance payments are crippling at £2000 a year.
Last week I had my car run into (well the tailgate at least) by some idiot
in a pickup who drove too close, so I am suing him for lost income. I also
had to drop out of the monthly walk due to needing all the time too. So
sometimes I think did I do the right thing or should I have pursued my brick
tinting?! Anyway now at least I have to get my money back so have to at
least earn around £4/5000 to cover that and all the wages I will have to pay
in the next few months. I hope it does turn out OK though otherwise I could
lose a lot of money.
Hope you are all OK and fit and well. I will see you sometime but I will
have to be a little less 'busy' I just have no spare time now
