- Microtek Scanwizard Copy utility cannot find any installed printers
- Posted by Dave on July 16th, 2003
I have a Microtek 5900 running Windows 2K. The problem is that the
Microtek Scanner Configuration utility cannot find any printers,
despite the fact that I have several printers installed. When the COPY
tab is opened, all options are greyed out, except for the setup button
for a printer. When setup is clicked, a message appears "No printer
installed. Please install the printer driver." I have several printers
installed, and the default one is a very standard Hewlett Packard 5P.
I've uninstalled Scanwizard, installed the latest vers 5.85 in safe
mode, rebooted and still no change. Microtek just can't or won't find
an answer. I'd be most grateful for any help.
