Thanks for your reply. If I understand you right, it can scan only one frame
at a time, even if a 4 or 6 frames strip is inserted? I'm interested in
negatives, I know already only LS-5000 can accept the slide adapter for
batch scanning.

thumbnails of the images on the strip and you simply select the images
you want scanned from that display.
You cannot scan longer strips of film or multiple frames of mounted
slides automatically with the LS-50.
