Nikon IV, V, 4000, or 5000 - Which one to buy?
Posted by Larry on July 8th, 2005

I'm in the market for a new Nikon Scanner. My LS-2000 is giving me fits.
I have a new PC w XP, 3GHz CPU, 1Meg RAM, 200G HD, has Firewire 1394 and
USB2 ports.
I want this to be compatible with my SF-200 Slide Feeder.
But which one would you buy? Who's got the best prices?

Also I've seen warnings about dealers who don't sell USA-warranted models.
If the dealer is from New York where many electronics are imported, how can
I be sure to get a unit that has USA warranty?

I have the LS5000ED with the SF210, but I understnad the SF-200 will
work with it also.

It's where I purchased mine some 20,000 plus slides and negatives ago.
