I have a number of old 116 roll film format negatives I'd like to scan
with my V700 but I can't come up with any really effective way of
holding them stable and flat.

The image size is 4.25" x 2.5" so they don't fit in anything supplied.

I'd really like to scan four at a time if I can but even two at a time
would be something.

So I think I'm after some ideas for a DIY film holder, does anyone

A simple sheet of paper or thin card with some holes cut in it and
some guides (thicker card?) stuck on it to help place the negatives
sounds possible to me. The only difficulty is how to hold the
negatives flat.

Alternatively a sheet of thick card (thick enough to get the film to
Epson film holder height) with holes in and a matching hinged sheet to
hold the negatives flat.

Better ideas anyone?

There's nothing to stop me putting more than one negative on the glass
really, but again some sort of guide to get them in the same place
every time would be a big plus.

I can place them emulsion side down and flip them to reduce Newtons rings.
