I have been a user of Omnipage for a good number of years. My last
version was # 11. I just bought, and installed version 14 and now my
scanner is not recognized. The scanner wizard sees the scanner, goes
through all the stuff to do with testing, etc. Then when I try to scan
Omnipage tells me I have no scanner. Most of the time it simply shuts
down Omnipage.

May I have some help please?

Sometimes you get a bad install which will correct with a reinstall.
