PSP Scanner Question
Posted by Richard on July 9th, 2003

I'm using an Epson 3200 with SilverFast and PSP,is there a way to keep
SilverFast from closing up when the scan is complete,I notice this
doesnt happen with Photo Shop.
One more thing. I haven't scanned any film or slides yet,but looking
at the instuction sheet, am I to assume they are place directly on the
scanner glass in the holders?. If so what keeps the glass from
getting scratched after a period of time.?

thank you..

Dear Richard,

In the options menu, under General you will find an option called
"start SF after scan." Make sure this is checked and SF will relaunch
after the scan is done.

I use PSP and run two instances of it. I use one istance of PSP with the
TWAIN silverfast SE (this doesn't turn off when you finish scanning) - and I
use the other instance of PSP to process a previous scan while the current
scan is running. This saves a lot of time.
