- Scan quality of Canon LiDE 50 relative to LiDE 30
- Posted by cnelson on November 18th, 2003
I am interested in the Canon CanoScan LiDE scanners. From the
specifications, it seems that scanning speed is the only difference
between the LiDE 30 and LiDE 50. I have seen many positive reviews of
the LiDE 30, but nothing on the LiDE 50. Does anyone know how the
scan quality of the LiDE 50 compares to the 30? I want to ensure the
scan quality of the 50 is not degraded by its faster scanning speed.

I haven't compared the two, but I do own a 50, and am very pleased with it,
both in operation and scan quality.

Believe the quality on the 50 is slightly better from one of the
Japanese computer magazines I have. Must dig it out tonight....
