We have a Snapscan 1212p scanner from Agfa and are using the latest
driver and software: Scanwise 1.4.0.1 on Windows XP.
When we preview an image, the colors look fine, but when the selection
square is ontop and when we actually scan the image, the colors are
more yellow and red than they should.

We tried the following recommended steps but it did not work:

"1) Uninstall ScanWise
2) Delete C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COLOR\sRGB Color Space Profile.icm
3)Reinstall ScanWise

This will install the correct color profile. To avoid future problems,
it is
a good idea to make a backup copy of the correct profile in case later
software additions overwrite it once again"

Don't know why the above does not work. Maybe because we are on XP.
Any other ideas?
