I got SilverFast se with a new Canon 8800f scanner
Is it worth installing?
What does it do?

It's your scanning software, and it's generally well regarded.

Is it the SE or Ai version? If it is SE, make sure to realize it only
outputs at 24 bit (vs. 48 bit) in one mode (HDR).
