Sleep mode n Epson

Hi all,

can u tell me how can I config my system in order to sleep my scan
after certain time with no activity? Actually it's on all the time,
even if my comp is sleeping!! My scanner is Epson Perfection 2400
and the comp a Athlon 700 w/ win 2000 professional

Thank u in advance...

If you're not scanning it's pretty much in sleep mode, unless the light is
being left on. Vuescan leaves the light on unless you close the program.

Hmmmm..

nope, I have the scanner with the lights on all the time.. no need to
load any software. Besides, I'm not a Vuescan user.

Any other tip, please?

I have a 1670Perfection and the main scanning light seems to go off after
10mins or so of no use but there is a light on the front on one of the
buttons that seems to stay on all the time (i.e 24/7) and since there is no
power swtich on the machine I have to unpug it all the time.

Is this the same problem you have? or am I doing something wrong?
