How can I scan superslides in cardboard mounts without disassembling them?
Superslides fit a standard carousel tray and projector but do not fit into
the 35mm transparency carrier of my Nikon 4000ED.

While the cardboard mounts not fitting may seem a problem, the real problem
is the slide. It is larger than 35mm, and the scanner will only scan up to
36mm x 24mm, (maybe 37mm x 25mm). So if you do get the mounts into the
carrier, only a part of the Slide will be scanned.

You might, and it is quite a big might, be able to scan these on a "Photo
Flatbed" scanner, but the quality is going to be well below that of the
Nikon.
