- Visioneer Strobe Pro Becomes "un-initialized" in XP
- Posted by tagtron@mail.com on February 14th, 2004
I am using a Strobe Pro (400 Series) in XP. It is connected by USB
and is using the XP drivers provided on the Visioneer support page.
When the PC is turned on, the Strobe initializes and can be used w/o
any problems. Sometimes for hours. But eventually, the driver is not
recognized, and the Strobe becomes "unavailable". Until I reboot.
I've gone through all the Visioneer troubleshooting steps. The Strobe
is getting power. I even plug and unplug it (USB and AC), but it
won't initialize, until I reboot the system.
Any ideas?
George
