- 4th category under Control Panel, Security Center?
- Posted by Stephen Howe on September 25th, 2005
Hi
I noticed recently that under Security advice on Microsoft's web site an
extra category appeared besides "Firewall", "Automatic Updates" and "Virus
Protection". And that was "Spyware Protection".
Is there plans to add this 4th catgory to the XP Security Center?
Of course these days, many vendors offer a combined Virus, Trojan Horse,
Worm and Spyware protection.

Google for "Windows OneCare".

No idea whether this will be added to the security center in XP (although
see Shenan's post).
Myself, I don't usually like "all in one" software. But. MS does have the
Antispyware beta
you can try out if you like.
