I am unable to delete user accounts in windows xp. I select the user and
click delete either sale files or remove files and delete causes the program
to hang and when I click again I get "program not responding" and closing
this screen I get MSHTA.EXE program hung.

Any help!!

Are you trying to delete the user account or the user profile?? It sounds
like you ,ay be trying to delete the user profile as there should not be any
reference to files when you delete a user account. To delete user profiles
you should use Control Panel/system/advanced/user profiles - settings while
logged on as an administrator. I would also check the logs via Event
Viewer to see if anything is recorded at the time you get the error message
that may be of help identifying the problem. --- Steve
