XP pro all PC's
Logged on as a administrator.
Windows workgroup, fixed IP addresses, no server or domain, connected to
hardware firewall with built in dns server, attached to the firewall is a
broadband modem.
I am trying to add a workgroup pc to allow access to my pc, not a user, but
the workgroup PC, it's self.

Local security settings:-
Access this computer from the network
object types, (groups is un-ticked), so I tick it
select location and select workgroup, a box arrears stating that, "This look
in box does not allow any of the objects you selected for the previous look
in container, so a default choice has been substituted.
It then lets me add the PC to the security settings and when I select ok, I
get this message, "Failed to save local policy database".

Any ideas?
