Gaining access to network drive not possible
Posted by Mystified on November 29th, 2005

When i try to access my network drive, I get the following message...desktop
is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network
resource. Before I go any further, I am trying to access the drive to
retrieve a GHOST 9 image to restore my laptop. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Assuming you have basic connectivity to that computer [verify with ping,
etc] and have file and print sharing access make sure that the share AND
ntfs permissions are what you need to gain access. The links below explain
further. --- Steve
