- Installing Security Products Across XP Accounts
- Posted by Kevin Brewer on October 2nd, 2005
Hi,
I'm having a problem with getting security products (firewall, anti virus
etc) to work on more than the account it was originally installled to.
I have given each account admin rights. The latest try resulted in Error
Code 10049 (Address is not available from the local machine). Although
sometimes there is just an "unexpected error" message. The workaround of
"run as" another user works okay but is not perfect.
O/S = XP Home SP2
Products tried: Norton Internet Security 2005 & Blueyonder PCGuard.
Windows Firewall has been switched off.
Any help would be great
Thanks
Kev
