after go to MS update site and it telling me to install the processing (GDI+)
security update my Win XP with SP2 will not start. in startup it keeps
flashing to a screen till me that the dll C:GDI+ has a problom and then trys
to reboot over and over and over and over .....

Boot to Safe Mode and uninstall KB912919 from Add/Remove Programs in the
Control Panel. Then temporarily disable the installed Antivirus program,
download the update from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...B-215B7BB4D8E9
Close Internet Explorer.
Install the update.
Restart the system.
Is the issue still present ?
