Hi
I have same problem but doesn't work for me!
i am using windows xp service pack 2 home edition which came preloaded with
my laptop

Local security policy editor is not supported in Windows XP
Home Edition....only Windows XP Professional.

- the local policy of this system does not permit you to logon inter (Microsoft Windows) by BadSector
- XP Policy Problem (Help and Support) by Mick
