How do I clear the last logon connection name when I bring up my Remote
Desktop?
Thanks
Rick.

You mean, you *never* want to see the name of the last host you connected
to? If so, I'm honestly not sure....but then again, I've never looked into
it. It's pretty simple to select the old name and overwrite it when you want
to connect to a new host. If that isn't what you mean, please clarify...

What you could try is to configure the Local Security Policy on the computer
that you are trying to access to not display the last logon name. Look under
local policies/security options - interactive logon: do not display last
user name. If you think this eliminates a security risk I would be very
dubious about that. You should rely on strong passwords to protect access to
a computer. It is fairly trivial to obtain or sniff user names on a network
anyhow. --- Steve
