safe to remove malware in reg keys?

ran a scan using ad-aware(free version) says there are 9 "critical objects"
(malware) 5 of those are registry keys. what should i do?

I would delete them but select the option to back up before you delete just
in case a registry entry is for something you need which you would know when
it does not work right though I would tend to think that most likely is not
the case. Some people apparently do use Gator, Comet Cursor, etc. ---

Those are programs that some people use that are flagged as spyware by most
spyware detection programs. --- Steve

Have you not considered going to the ad-aware web site to learn more? Or,
studying the help files?
