I have several machines in home, that have all drives shared. I want to be
able to get to the Program files filder and all sub directories. I get the
access denied error message.

I understand tha tI need to disable simple file sharing, but need step by
step instructions on how I need to set up further to allow access to the
program files directories.

My question is, why would you wish to do this anyway? You can't just run
(most) applications from a remote computer. And if these are programs that
were written by developers who for some reason thought "Program Files\My
Program\Subfolder" was a really great place to store *data*, see if you can
move it elsewhere - I don't think user created data files belong in that
folder.
