- Starting printer dialog w.out starting explorer
- Posted by MatthewBrown@gmail.com on October 13th, 2005
Hello,
Okay... so What I want to do is launch the printer selection window
without launching explorer.
I don't want to be able to have the start menu, and desktop icons, etc.
This is actually for Remote Desktop for some of my users; who i only
want to be able to launch Access and the printer dialog window.
but every time I execute the command to launch the printer dialog
window:
explorer
file:///::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\::{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}
it obviously launches explorer (which triggers the start menu and
desktop icons).
Is there an alternate way to trigger the printer selection window that
isn't dependant on explorer.exe?
Thanks,
Matt
