I am trying to to get NetMeeting to work on a few computers at work. I have
reacently made a new image and I have loaded it to a few mechines. Some of
them still work fine but some do not. They are the same physical type of
computer and have the same image loaded ot them. I have made sure that the
settings I applied to one was applied to the other. On the ones that don't
work, you can hear all sounds and the mic works in Windows but in NetMeeting
you can't hear anything. You still hear Windows and what not though. The
setting I made to the machines are: Under Advanced Audio Properties turning
Hardware Acceleration down, in the properties of the NIC on the Power
Management tab unchecking "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save
power." and I added conf.exe (NetMeeting) to the Exceptions as well as
disabled the Windows Firewall. As I have said I have done all this on 2
machines that are the same, IBM ThinkCentre M52, with the same image loaded
to them and it works on one and not the other.
