- XP SP3 Firewall

XP Professional with SP3 installed. I use the Microsoft firewall. After a
restart in services the firewall is set to disabled. Resetting it to
automatic before a restart does not hold when the PC is rebooted. Why is
this? Thanks for any replies. This did not happen before I installed SP3.
