- Clean re-install failing

Trying to re-install Windows XP Home SP2 via CD Rom failed.
I get the blue install screen entitled Windows Setup and that's it.
It should be loading some setup files, but it does nothing. There is just
the blue Windows Setup screen.
I ran Windows RAM diagnostics. No problems found.
I tried to boot setup using the 6 Windows setup floppies: same result, the
blue Windows Setup screen appears and full stop.
What more can I do more?

Try cleaning the xp cd,use rubbing alcohol with soft cloth.
