How to remove programs from D: drive?
Posted by Connecticut ME on April 18th, 2006

My system is partitioned into two drives, C and D. When using XP's
Add/Remove Programs, the list is only populated with C drive content. How
can I make it display programs that are on the D drive?

Add/Remove dialogue shows all/any win compliant apps installed anywhere on
your sys, for the current win installation.
Have you just reformatted and installed on C perchance?

DL - I haven't reformatted. I simply made a directory - D:\program
files\etc... The list shows some C drive programs at the top, then lots of
white space as I scroll down, then some more programs at the bottom along
with Windows Hotfix files.

You made this Directory (folder) in explorer?
Did you then custom install apps into this folder, or did you simply move
apps in explorer to this folder?
If you didnt install into this folder the apps will not show in add/remove
niether will they work
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/266668/en-us may apply, however you can try
system restore first
