Imaging Solution Help Please

Can someone recommend a freeware or low cost solution to create OS Images
with the following requirements?

I am looking for way to create a master Windows 2000 Image and a master
Windows XP Image. I want them to have all the updates and I would like them
to have certain software already installed. I would like the desktop to be
customized. I need the solution to allow us to enter the license keys that
came with the O.S. of our PCs and Laptops as we image them. Our PCs are all
different so we need a solution that allows different device drivers to be
installed as the image is installed.

Is anything available that can do this?

http://www.leinss.com/uniimg.html and the Microsoft Desktop Deployment
2007 can probably do what you want: it is free, but a bit of work.

I have never tried it, but Windows 2000 uses a similar unattended
installation process, like Windows XP and 2k3, so it should works
fine.

Ya it should work. It wasn't tested but several people have gotten it to
work.

Ok Thanks. Now will I be able to create an image with a DELL OEM 2000 or XP
disk and use that with all our PCs even if they are not Dell? I have the
license key for each PC.
