Need to remove/rollback changes daily
Posted by Snapshot on October 26th, 2005

I need to either re-install an XP Pro workstation each day or at least
rollback and remove any changes made to it each day. This is to insure
security and reliability for a PC in a semi-public area at my company. I
also need this to be an automated process. Any suggestions out there?

Simple, less drastic solution:

Microsoft Shared Computer Toolkit for Windows XP

Hi,

A couple of 3rd party programs you might want to look at:

Deep Freeze

Symantec’s Norton GoBack 4.0

I have used Deep Freeze for my student open labs for the past four
years. Works great!
