- Quicklaunch and WMIC
- Posted by Kris on April 25th, 2006
Hi..
I am making an unattended installation.
The "quicklauch" is one of the most complicated of problems..I tried various
methods circulating on the internet ,even some that I have discovered...but
still..
I want perfection.
I am considering an idea, that it would be possible to turn quicklaunch ON
by executing a runonce script in WMIC language.
Is this possible , to turn on and off user interface functionality with WMIC?
It is very hard to find any usable info on this topic..I hope some MVP will
have the answer..
Thanks.,
Kris

If you download and install BDD 2.5 you'll find a working vbscript
(ShowQL.vbs) in the C:\Program Files\BDD Enterprise 2.5\Computer
Imaging System\Master $OEM$\$OEM$\$1\Local folder
Link for download
