Re-Installation of Windows XP

I completely erased my computer with a reboot cd, I got off the internet. The
last step of the reboot cd said after it formatted: Put in your windows disc,
Type in e:\setup. When I did that, it said that the program could not be run
in DOS mode. does anyone know what that problem may be? Also earlier, I set
up XP on the comuter, I had the option of format the partition using NTFS
file system(quick), Format the partition usiing FAT file system(quick, NTFS
file System, or FAT file sysem, or Convert the partition to NTFS, or leave
the current file system inact. I picked one (I beleave the FAT file.
Everything ran smooth until I took out my disc, and every time I would
restart my computer it would say: No Bootable Device selected. Any idea what
I am doing wrong? Thank you for your help!

You need to boot your machine with your WinXP CD, after
instructing the BIOS to use the CD drive as the first boot
device. Everyting else is automatic.

You boot from the CD and do a clean install.
