- Redirected Folders & DFS

I am a network admin. we are running a Server 2003 network. I have folders
redirected to a Dfs root. ie, \\domainname.com\DfsRoot\Folders
The problem is anytime you move, copy, rename, delete, or create a file...
you don't see the results until you manually refresh the Windows Explorer.
why does this happen? shouldn't the Windows Explorer refresh itself
automatically? Is tehre a setting for this somewhere?
