- Reinstall Windows XP w/ dead hard drive & no install disk?
- Posted by webmail@juliansmith.com on February 4th, 2006
Hi:
The hard drive on my Toshiba laptop just died completely and
unexpectedly. I bought another drive but now I can't find the Windows
XP install disk(s) that came with the original. What can I do? The
computer is not under warrantee any more.
Thanks!

You'll need to purchase a new copy of Windows XP
unless you can contact Toshiba and order their own
version of Windows XP which will only work with
the Toshiba issued Product key.
Example:
Microsoft Windows XP Home With SP2 - OEM
