- RIS Sysprep and large XP images
- Posted by The other Mike on December 14th, 2005
Running 2000 SP4 on the servers. I guess I'm a little confused about
RIS. I have 30 Dell machines we just purchased. I set up XP
Professional on one of them with Office 2003. I want to clone this
drive to all the other PC's using Sysprep and RIS. I can't burn the
image to a cd since it's way too big. So how do I (or should I be
looking at something other then RIS?) upload this image to a server
and once that's done...can I then use RIS with this image? Or should
I be looking at something like Ghost to do this?
