- Setup Reboot failure
- Posted by Onno on November 17th, 2005
Hi,
I have a strange thing, i am running a unattended Windows XP setup on a
Toshiba Tecra S3 and when the setup is restarting the machine it stops
responding with a black screen (this happens also in the text mode part). The
only thing that is working is the power button (holding it for 5 seconds).
After powering up the system setup is running fine again till the next reboot.
I'm installing Windows XP SP1 (i know, but the company needs it till some apps
are upgraded, so installing SP2 is no option).
Anyone a suggestion?
Thanks.
