- Setup XP Home Edition
- Posted by Ralph on February 4th, 2006
Just installed Windows HP Home edition - used New installation thinking it
would remove my old 98 operating system but its seems to have left it on one
of the hard drive partition. Is it because C: drive where the 98 OS lived
didn't have sufficient free space so it put XP on the D: drive and left the
contents of C:? How can I safely remove?

You need to start over and perform a "clean install".
Clean Install Windows XP
