Iv been trying to upgrade to XP Professional and during the installation the
set up asks for a file "viaide.sys" what is this file and whats it suppost to
do .......and what im i suppost to do from here on ?

<shacks head> No, i tryed serching and found nothing but BS. Nothing
helpfull, useless hits.
The setup acts like it needs the file. I tryed to locate the file and found
it in the System32 folder and it wouldnt accept it, nore would it take the
one on the cd - "viaide.sy"
Whats this sound like ?
