The problem is with a 3 year old HP Pavillion 545x that was just went thru a
nondistrucktive recovery and SP2 added. My problem is I can not update the
computer with the lastest xp updates. In Internet Explorier, I select
TOOLS>Windows Update. The Windows update site comes up. It gets to the screen
Checking Windows version and stays there. The computer is not lockedup, it
just keeps checking. It never gets to the green progress bar.
Any suggestions?
