Certificates

Hi there

Most of my customers use certificates created on their own servers and they
work great. Just wondering if we decided to get a certificate from a proper
certificate authority so that we can get Pocket PC's to connect directly to
a SBS server insted of using a VPN who would you choose? Who is the
cheapest etc... What type of certificate do I need?

Cheers

Daniel.

Take a look at this article:

http://tinyurl.com/ca4r9

it describes obtaining a free SSL certificate which is what you'll need to
secure access with your Exchange server.

You can of course buy a certificate from VeriSign etc. if you want.

Each set of trusted Root Certs is different on each mobile device

Thawte Certs and godaddy are pretty inexpensive...
