Client connect using SBS2003
Posted by mikesorun@gmail.com on February 22nd, 2008

I don't have much experience with Microsoft SBS-2003. I just installed
another computer for a customer that has a SBS network. They have a 10
user license and currently are using 6 of them. I made the changes to
the workgroup but can't see the server. I can see other computers on
the same network but not the server. The only thing I am trying to
accomplish is to map a data storage fold to the new computer. The data
storage is a fold on the server. All the other computers just log on
and use it. The user already has an account on the SBS but if we can't
see the server, can't log in.

Please help..

Thanks,
Mike

did you use the connect computer wizard to join the computer to the domain?? Doesn't sound like it.

FYI this group is for a much older version of SBS

The SBS 2003 group is microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs
