Connect to the server with Remote Desktop Connection from outside of the local area network
Posted by Barry McConomy on May 17th, 2005

Hi

I have a Windows 2003 SBS with ISA installed.

The server connects to the Internet with a dialup modem.

I can't connect to the server with Remote Desktop Connection from outside of
the local area network.

Can anybody advise what I should check or do?

Regards
Barry

Barry,

check if the RDP protocol is listening on the interface you are connection
to Internet (from configure Terminal Server).
