HELP Backup report blank issue

Hello,
I am running SBS server 2003 w/sp2, I have tried the articles related
to the issue and it still fails after a few days randomly. I have edited the
ntbackup command to use the /um switch etc. I have verified the scheduler is
running, I see no messages in the event viewer. The backups are scheduled to
start at 1:30am each night. Please help.

Hi Dan:

You may get more response in the SBS 2003 Newsgroup.

SBS public Newsgroups:

SBS 4.x: microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz
SBS 2000: microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000
SBS 2003: microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs

if your current news server does not carry the mentioned groups you should
be able to connect directly to news.microsoft.com

You might add some details, such as:

Are you using the SBS backup wizard, or NTBackup by itself.

Are you backing up to tape or external drives or? Brand and capacity?

Does it always fail on the same cycle... Tuesday? Or Tape #3 or?

Are there any related events in your event logs?
