Hello Customer,
Thank you for posting here.
According to your description, I understand that you want to know the
hardware requirement of SBS 2003. If I have misunderstood the problem,
please don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, there is the KB to refer to:
Hardware requirements for Windows Small Business Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829711
You can find more important information from the following page:
Getting Started of SBS 2003
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Window...brary/bf73b051
-77c1-454a-951e-be09500c008d1033.mspx
Deployment of SBS 2003
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Window...brary/88a7867e
-ad8e-4177-bb4f-9a80162c6dac1033.mspx
Personally, I suggest you have no less than 2 GB memory for your SBS 2003.
We usually use RAID 1 for system partition, and RAID 5 for data partition.
Note: If you want to upgrade your SBS 2003 to SBS 2008 in near future, I
suggest you buy 64bit server. The SBS 2008 could only running on 64bit
server.
I hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

| I'm in the process of sourcing hardware for a new SBS 2003 server build.
| Whilst I have managed to obtain a list of minimum/recommended system
| requirements, please could you guide me on the following points:
| 1) Disk space and Memory - should this be calculated on the number of
users
| and applications used? What should I be looking at to run exchange
| comfortably for 15 users?
| 2) What is the recommended disk configuration i.e Raid 1 or Raid 5 for
the
| os disk, raid 1 or 5 for data storage disk?
|
| Any idea where I can get step-by-step documentation?
|
| Your comments would be appreciated.
