Hi Tom_tom88:
First, some housekeeping:
1.
This group is for older versions of SBS. You may get more response in the
SBS 2003 Newsgroup.
SBS public Newsgroups:
SBS 4.x: microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz
SBS 2000: microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000
SBS 2003: microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs
if your current news server does not carry these groups you should
be able to connect directly to news.microsoft.com
2. Google Groups may help in cases like this, as in my next paragraph
Any help from this prior response from MS CSS:

According to the fax help the ability to not use a server cover page is
controlled by the "Allow use of personal cover pages" tick box on the Outbox
tab of Fax properties. I have that box ticked but when sending a fax the
"Select a cover page template ..." option is ticked and greyed out. Please
could someone tell me how to enable this option so that faxes can be sent
without a cover page if the user so desires?
Thanks for your post.
From the description, I understand that the "Select a cover page template
with the following information" option is grayed out on the Send Fax
Wizard. If I'm off base, please let me know.
Actually this is a by-design feature. That option let's you choose whether
you want the cover page or not. When you invoke the "Send Fax Wizard"
directly the Fax service thinks you are faxing a cover-page-only fax. So
you must have a cover page and hence the option is checked & disabled. When
you print something (for example from Notepad) to the "Fax" printer (in
Notepad, choose File->Print, choose the Fax printer and click Print), you
get the same "Send Fax Wizard". In this case that option can be disabled
and enabled. When you choose not to send the cover page only the body (the
text in notepad) is faxed.
