How can I copy user accounts, (user SID's etc) from a "live" SBS4.5 machine
to a "recovery" SBS machine?

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

This is the situation:
- We have a "live" Windows NT / SBS 4.5 machine
- I want to build a "Backup" or "Recovery" WinNT / SBS4.5 machine that can
replace the original machine.

The problem:
- I cannot copy users from one machine to another.
- I can create users on the recovery server with the same name as those on
the live server, but this is not sufficient.
- I need to create users with the same SID.
- Is this possible?

The recovery server:
- Is situated in its own network, not connected to that of the live server
- Hardware is NOT similar to that of the live server
- All software versions and service packs are same as live server
- All settings are the same as the live server
