- Which version of SBS 2003 ?
- Posted by lmg on May 2nd, 2008
Is there an easy way to identify which version of SBS 2003 a new customer is
running?
Would right clicking 'My Compter' then going to 'properties' differentiate
between the 2 versions or will I need to ascertain if SQL or ISA server has
been installed.

Hi
AFAIK, SBS Standard is Standard unless the Premium content is installed. So
your best indication would be to check for those products and of course, the
installation media. If you know the MS part number of the media, you can
check that as well.
BTW, this group is for older versions of SBS. You may get more response to
this and any future questions in the SBS 2003 Newsgroup.
SBS public Newsgroups:
SBS 4.x: microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz
SBS 2000: microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000
SBS 2003: microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs
if your current news server does not carry these groups you should
be able to connect directly to news.microsoft.com
