- 6 in 1 card reader driver
- Posted by ever on January 24th, 2004
Hi,
I got a 6 in 1 usb card reader but don't know the brand name.
When I plug it into my Win98 SE box, it says "Dynamic-6 V2.8B",
I want to know where I can get the driver?
If you have the driver, could you please email me at chaerios6@jetable.com
Many thanks
Pyedka

Look on the bottom and see if there's a label with a part number or product
name.

Is there a label with a code number that starts with: FCC ?

The distributor is Sakar International. I know because I
bought one and it has no identification anywhere. This is
perhaps the first product I've ever seen that bears no
ideitification as to who "made" it. I suspect that this is
because they don't want anyone taking them up on the long
warranty that's promised on the package. Another strangeness
is that the wararanty is not provided with the product. You
have to get to it on Sakar's web site, where it can be
changed at will. There is a handling charge to honor the
warranty. It isn't excessive, but this is a practice that is
dishonest to me. These are not exactly respectable ways of
doing business, IMHO.
You should know that the device is Plug and Play in Windows
Me and Xp. Drivers are used for Windows 98, Mac, and Win
2000. You can probably download those drivers, if you need
them, directly off the Sakar web site.
