I am interested in knowing if it is possible to play DVD's on a CD drive and
if so, software? Sorry if the question has been asked and replied to

the prices have gone down so much lately, you might concider just
getting
a DVD recorder , I got a external lite-on brand external DVD writer and
it works great , it plays/records both CD's and DVD's ... I paid $100
